Heavy GSM cotton fabrics place greater demands on preparation, dyeing, and finishing. Increased fabric weight can make consistent processing more difficult, particularly when managing crease marks, uniform preparation, and production efficiency.

Fibre52 has been commercially evaluated on heavyweight cotton constructions across multiple manufacturing environments, making Heavy GSM one of the strongest demonstrated commercial applications of the process.
